Sanguine Pre-Release (One Week Left)
One week out from the launch of the Sanguine Foundations Kickstarter!
This is a surreal experience.
Even more surreal than launching a Kickstarter is working to finish the back half of this graphic novel and making sure it’s everything that it needs to be. This has been my baby, my sleep-wrecking, all-consuming baby and it is such a source of pride. It’s easy for work to become a source of burnout especially when stretching yourself between so many obligations but at every step this has been rewarding at every level, stretching my artistry in directions that I never anticipated going in: like rapping.
To generate some hype for this project, I rapped over ATLiens. Since Jes is from Atlanta, it only makes sense:
To this point, every Friday during the campaign, I’ll be putting out a new song. Add that to some other surprises along the way and — it’s going to be an exciting month full of surprises!
